Lightning Strike Cause Significant Damage

This board up was done following a lightening strike in the middle of the night that hit the side of the house and blew the propane regulator on the side of the house.  The flame shot up like a torch up the side of the house.  The homeowner contacted us, SERVPRO, and we came right away to board up after the damage.  The homeowner was woke by the storm and actually fought the fire himself until the fire department arrived so he prevented a lot more damage to the house.  They called SERVPRO to board up and employees were able to come right away the same day and protect the house from further weather damage from the rain and wind elements.
